David has been playing drums and percussion for forty-three years; professionally for thirty years. He lives in Melbourne, is married and has two sons. He has taught percussion since 1975, currently at Scotch College and privately. He has worked as an assessor for the Australian Music Examination Board and the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority. David is the author of STICK FIGURES, a unique book about Australian drumming legends. David is an endorser of PEARL drums, ZIDJIAN cymbals and VIC FIRTH sticks.
