All base rates quoted are a 4 hour call from the guest seating time. Additional time is available as an extra hourly rate

BACKGROUND MUSIC

Background music on CD will be provided by Rapture for all band breaks and up to 30 mins prior to guests being seated. This service is included in base fees and is standard protocol.

PLAYING TIME

There are many variables within a function that can effect the bands performance times. Every function is different. Rapture wants to give you the best possible value for money. If meals are delayed or speeches and presentations go for longer than expected, this will shorten the time available for band performance. Rapture works very well with venue operators and co-operative ‘snap’ decisions can be made to maximize dance time.
As a general rule of thumb, we will perform dance sets of 35 – 45 minutes unless directed to stop for a formality or a dinner course. As a guide Rapture performs approximately 9 – 10 songs in a 40 minute set.

PRODUCTION

Additional production may be required for certain venues OR larger functions catering to 250 and over. Prices on application. Playing space required for 5 piece is approximately 3.5m- 4m wide x 2.5m-3m deep (Min). Rapture is flexible in working with non-standard stage areas and have performed as a 6 piece on quite small stages that are more suited to a 2-3 piece band.

CATERING

A guest meal and drinks (beer, wine and soft drinks / juice) should be provided at a set table with cutlery, glassware & condiments. Rapture prefers to be seated at their own separate table within the guest dining room so they can monitor the flow and timing of the function. The exception to this is when floorshows and costumed shows are part of the performance. See dressing rooms under Corporate Shows.
We prefer to be served our courses immediately after the guest of honour(s) and before the rest of the guests. This will ensure that dance brackets directly after meal courses are timely.

Venues 40km and over from Melb CBD attract an additional travel fee.
